This event will showcase the musical talents of our school’s students as well as written speeches.

We are proud to present “George Stock,” a weekend event that will take place on May 20. It inspired us to organize a similar event on our school grounds. As you may know, the famous Woodstock music festival that took place in 1969 is one of the most memorable events in history. Goldfish n’ Java, in association with Pete Holland, is excited to announce a new weekend event which will hopefully become a springtime tradition. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the scholarship deadline to ensure a timely turnaround. Requests for Scholarship Documents: Students needing documents sent to a scholarship organization must complete the Scholarship Documents Request Form. This policy is noted on page 39 of the Community Handbook. As Accepted Student Days and other college events approach, seniors must submit a “College Visit Absence Request” via REACH at least two school days prior to the absence. Students will learn important information about the college essay and finish the workshop with a draft of their essay. Classes will be held on Zoom each weekday from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Remember, the sale is first come, first served, so please come as soon as you can if you think we have a plant that you know you want!

The sale will be cash-only, and a list of prices will be sent out shortly. So, please come up to Red Square during lunch tomorrow.

Keep in mind that these plants are best suited for outdoor growth in a garden or in pots while some of them can be grown indoors as “kitchen herbs” (such as basil), they really cannot reach their full potentials without space outdoors (where they are meant to be). We will be selling a variety of edible plants, including four kinds of Basil, Parsley, Broccoli, Mint, English Lavendar, Chamomile, Sungold and Container Tomatoes, and Strawberry plants! On behalf of the GS Plant Club, we are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Spring Plant Sale on Wednesday and Thursday (if stock remains unsold from Wednesday) during lunch on Red Square!
